Ocyan is Ahead for Petrobras’ Drill and More Job Openings Are Coming! The Brazilian group presented the best price in the bidding for chartering a drill for 2,400 meters of water depth. Ocyan is expected to secure a new drill chartering contract with the Brazilian oil giant. The company submitted the best bid in the state-owned company’s tender for one or more drilling units of 2,400 meters, offering the drillship Norbe IX, with a daily rate of US$ 179,500 (NPV).
Furthermore, Ocyan Signed a New Offshore Contract With Petrobras in the Campos Basin in March, and 700 Job Openings Will Be Offered
The new contract for offshore maintenance and services between Ocyan and Petrobras in the Santos Basin, which includes more than 700 job openings, will be for the offshore platforms Merluza and Mexilhão. The term of the contract lasts about 3 years with an estimated renewal for another two years (24 months).
