This Week Started the So-Called Mega Fair Serasa and Desenrola. According to the Federal Government, Citizens Will Be Able to Negotiate Their Debts in Person at Six Thousand Post Offices Across Brazil. This, for Free.

People with debts who wish to negotiate these debts can go to one of the thousands of Post Office branches until March 28, to negotiate their debts as part of the national campaign against delinquency, with special discounts.

In a press conference, Fabiano Silva dos Santos, president of the Post Office, stated that this partnership with the Post Office aims to facilitate the population’s access to the main debt combat programs in Brazil, including Desenrola. In the president’s view, this initiative “contributes to reducing delinquency and to the growth of the country’s economy.”

Participants of the Fair

Today, there are around 700 companies from all segments participating in this mega fair. Among the sectors, there are banks, financial institutions, retail trade, telecommunications operators, and securitizers. It is important to highlight that the valid debts in Desenrola Brazil are those registered between 2019 and 2022.

Currently, according to Serasa, this Mega Fair has over 550 million offers. These offers include discounts of up to 96% on debts registered in Desenrola Brazil, with installments of up to 60 times, a minimum payment of R$ 50, and interest of 1.99% per month.

Desenrola Negotiation Can Be Done Virtually. In addition to the option of negotiating debts at a Post Office, people can also settle their debts online through the Serasa website. For this, there are three different channels available:

Desenrola Accessed by Banking Platforms

Another news from Desenrola Brazil this week is that it can now be accessed through banking platforms. The first to release this functionality was Itaú Unibanco. With this, customers who fall into the Desenrola Tier 1 can view the available offers.

According to the information, as soon as the customer with a debt accesses the bank’s platform, they are redirected to the Desenrola website, where they can check their debts and make payments under the program’s conditions, without the need for another login.

Last Phase of Desenrola Brazil

Desenrola Brazil has now reached its last phase. In this sense, until March 31, 2024, customers can get discounts of up to 96% on their debts. This comes with the possibility of installments of up to 60 times (with interest of 1.99% per month).

Beware of Scams

Finally, it is important to stay alert to scams. Serasa, for example, has warned people that the entity only serves through its official channels and does not contact consumers directly.

In this sense, attention: always verify the authenticity of the boleto or Pix key before making any payment. To assist in this inspection, Serasa created a feature called “Payment Code Validator.” This tool aims to ensure the security of the transaction.
