What the notice offers

Notice No. 187/2024, published by IFSul, establishes the guidelines for the Extraordinary Selection Process that aims to fill vacancies in distance learning undergraduate courses for the first semester of 2025.

There are more than 1.000 vacancies distributed in highly relevant courses in the market, organized in partnership with the Universidade Aberta do Brasil (UAB).

Among the available courses are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Administration;
  • Bachelor's Degree in Production Engineering;
  • Technology in Environmental Management;
  • Technology in Tourism Management;
  • Technology in School Processes;
  • Technology in Internet Systems.

These courses offer flexibility so that students of different profiles can obtain quality higher education, even in regions far from large urban centers.

The main objective is to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in strategic and promising areas.

Who can apply

According to the notice, Candidates who have completed high school may participate.

In line with inclusive policies, IFSul reserves 50% of places for students from public schools.

This measure aims to ensure greater diversity and social inclusion in the academic environment, promoting equal opportunities among candidates.

Furthermore, the distance learning modality allows students to reconcile their studies with work or other personal responsibilities, making it a viable alternative for many Brazilians who face geographical and financial barriers.

Why this opportunity is so important

According to IFSul, offering these courses reflects the institution's commitment to the democratization of higher education in Brazil.

Providing free places eliminates financial barriers that often prevent Brazilians from accessing quality education.

The courses offered not only guarantee solid academic training, but also significantly increase employability chances.

For example, areas such as Production Engineering and Internet Systems Technology are in high demand in the job market, offering good salary and professional growth prospects.

Furthermore, distance modality provides a modern and flexible learning experience, ideal for meeting the needs of those looking to qualify without giving up other responsibilities.

As stated in the notice, the courses were structured to combine theory and practice, ensuring that students acquire technical and behavioral skills relevant to the current market.

Inclusion and diversity: pillars of the selection process

One of the great differences in the IFSul Extraordinary Selection Process is the focus on inclusion.

Reserving 50% of places for graduates from public schools promotes greater diversity within the institution and reinforces the commitment to social equity.

This initiative is aligned with national policies for the democratization of higher education, enabling more Brazilians, especially those in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability, to have access to academic training and the opportunities it provides.

Last chance to change your future

Today is the last day to guarantee your registration and start 2025 on the right foot, enrolled in one of the free and quality courses offered by IFSul.
