New Volkswagen Electric Car Is Revolutionizing The Automotive Industry By Delivering Nearly 1,000 Km Of Range. Understand How The Test Of The German Vehicle Was..
Volkswagen continues to redefine automotive industry standards with the launch of its latest electric model, the ID.7 Pro S. This fully electric sedan not only combines cutting-edge energy efficiency with impressive performance, but also sets a new benchmark in comfort, advanced technology, and aerodynamic design. With an impressive range of up to 700 km on a single charge (WLTP cycle) and innovative features such as intelligent temperature control and a fully digital instrument panel, the ID.7 Pro S promises to revolutionize the experience of driving electric vehicles. In this article, we explore the details that make Volkswagen’s new electric car a true reference in the automotive market.
New Volkswagen Electric Car Delivers Up To 941 Km Of Range
In a recent test conducted at the Nardò track in southern Italy, the new electric car achieved an impressive range of 941 km on a single battery charge, exceeding its already considerable official range of 709 km by 32.7%, measured by the European WLTP standard.
During the test, Volkswagen’s electric car consumed only 9.2 kWh per 100 km, equivalent energy efficiency to about 1 liter of diesel for the same distance.

OMODA enters eSports with VALORANT and launches OMODA 4 as a digital hub to win over Generation Z with technology, futuristic design, and advanced connectivity.
This achievement in the automotive industry is attributed to the combination of an 86 kWh (usable) liquid battery, advanced aerodynamics (drag coefficient of 0.23), and a state-of-the-art propulsion system known as APP550, which delivers 286 horsepower and 54 Nm of torque.
The test with Volkswagen’s new electric car was conducted in cold conditions, between 5 and 15 degrees Celsius, which typically require more energy for heating. Even so, the new vehicle exceeded expectations, highlighting its potential to set a record under more favorable conditions.
Although the test was designed to maximize efficiency, Volkswagen emphasized that the simulated conditions were similar to traffic in major cities, with an average speed of 29 km/h, comparable to the figures of cities like Hamburg (22 km/h) and Amsterdam (31 km/h), according to the TomTom Traffic Index.
New Electric Car Establishes Itself As A Great Option For Long Trips
This suggests that, in urban commutes, Volkswagen’s electric car may offer a significantly greater range than average.
In addition to its impressive range, the new electric car also stands out for its fast-charging capability. The model supports up to 200 kW of DC charging, allowing an additional 244 km of range in just 10 minutes.
A charge from 10% to 80% can be completed in about 26 minutes, which is enough time for a quick break during long trips.
The new electric car is already showing a significant impact on Volkswagen’s sales. The model is surpassing the traditional Passat in orders in Europe, establishing itself as a fully electric alternative for long-distance drivers and corporate fleets.
In November 2024, Volkswagen’s new electric car climbed to 6th place among the best-selling EVs in Europe, trailing only models like the Tesla Model Y and Volkswagen’s own ID.4.
Understand The Importance Of Volkswagen’s Electric Car For The Automotive Sector
Volkswagen’s new electric car in the automotive industry is not just another EV; it positions itself as Volkswagen’s new flagship, combining cutting-edge efficiency with advanced features and sophisticated design.
The brand describes the model as a production vehicle designed to offer maximum efficiency, and the results in Nordò reinforce this vision.
As the German brand continues to expand its lineup of electric vehicles, the ID.7 represents a significant milestone, standing out as a practical and stylish model, ideal for everyday use and long-distance travel.
It is worth mentioning that the car used in the test was taken directly from the Volkswagen production line at the Emden plant in Germany, without any technical modifications, reinforcing the independence of the range test.
