Shineray has officially launched the Shineray SBM 250T in the Brazilian market, a trail motorcycle that arrives to challenge the dominance of traditional brands in the mixed-use segment.
With a suggested price of R$ 24,990, the model bets on a technical specification superior to the category average to attract those seeking power without paying the price of market leaders.
Developed in cooperation with the Chinese QJMotor, the novelty was presented this week as a robust alternative for urban commuting and off-road excursions, combining modern technology with an aggressive acquisition value.

Learn all about the new Shineray SBM 250T
The main advantage of the Shineray SBM 250T is its strategic financial positioning. While the Honda XRE 300 Sahara is sold for R$ 30,990 and the Yamaha XTZ 250 Lander for R$ 29,290, Shineray offers its model for R$ 24,990.
This cost difference makes the motorcycle an attractive option for young people and workers who depend on the motorcycle but are looking for a brand new model with mid-range performance for a lower investment.

Engine and performance of the Shineray SBM 250T
Unlike other entry-level models, the mechanical set of this trail bike is focused on performance. The 249 cc single-cylinder engine features liquid cooling, four valves, and double overhead camshaft (DOHC). According to the manufacturer’s technical data, the engine delivers:
- Maximum Power: 30.8 hp at 9,000 rpm;
- Maximum Torque: 2.6 kgf.m at 7,000 rpm;
- Transmission: 6-speed gearbox;
- Fuel System: Latest generation electronic injection.
This extra horsepower allows the Shineray SBM 250T to have more elastic performance on highways, avoiding excessive engine strain at higher speeds, while the six-speed gearbox helps maintain balanced fuel consumption.
Chassis and all-terrain capabilities
The motorcycle’s structure was designed to ensure stability on different surfaces. The front suspension uses an inverted fork (USD), a technology that improves impact absorption, while the rear is mono-shock.
With 19-inch wheels at the front and 17 at the rear, fitted with mixed-use tires, the model is ready to tackle asphalt or dirt.

Additionally, the bike’s dimensions favor off-road use: ground clearance is up to 290 mm, preventing the chassis from hitting obstacles, and the seat height is 850 mm. With a curb weight of 143 kg (128 kg dry) and a tank capacity of 13 liters, the bike balances autonomy with ease of maneuverability.
Onboard technology and safety
In the technology package, the Shineray SBM 250T does not skimp on standard items. The braking system consists of discs on both wheels aided by dual-channel ABS, ensuring that the wheels do not lock in risky situations.
The lighting is entirely LED (Full LED), providing greater night visibility. On the dashboard, the rider finds a digital LCD screen with simplified reading. Thinking about urban versatility, Shineray included USB type A and C sockets for charging electronic devices.

Therefore, the motorcycle presents itself as a complete product, combining the robust look of a trail bike with the modern conveniences demanded by Brazilian motorcyclists in 2026.
Shineray SBM 250T Availability
The arrival of the new 250T reinforces the brand’s premium portfolio, which already includes the recently launched SBM 400SS and SHI 400sc.
By offering more power than its rivals at a lower price, Shineray hopes to consolidate its market share in the national market as the main “third way” option. The motorcycle is already available for orders at the brand’s dealership network nationwide.
