If you want to start 2025 with a new profession or acquire new skills, the Technical School Support Foundation (Faetec) has a great opportunity. There are 11.551 vacancies open for free professional qualification courses in the first half of 2025.
The free qualification courses are offered exclusively in person, with places distributed across several regions of the state of Rio de Janeiro, including the metropolitan region, Costa Verde, Norte Fluminense, as well as Baixadas Litorânea and Fluminense.
How to participate in the selection process
The selection process The selection of free qualification courses will be carried out through an electronic draw. Each candidate may choose up to four courses in a single application. The full notice, containing details about the available courses, teaching locations and selection process criteria, is available on the institution's website.

Free courses and qualification areas
The training courses cover a variety of areas, such as IT, beauty, maintenance services and performing arts. The courses offered include:
- Computer operator
- Administrative assistant
- English
- Theatrical Initiation
- Clinical Immunohematology
- Automation and Robotics
Classes last 20 weeks and begin in February 2025. The results of the draw will be announced on January 28th.
Who can apply?
To participate, candidates must be at least 14 years old and meet the specific educational requirements for each course.
To compete, those interested in the free qualification courses must register by January 26th at Faetec official website. After registering, you will not be able to change or add new courses, so it is important to choose carefully.
