If business prospects are added, the amount exceeds R$13 million; the result exceeds the turnover of last year's edition by 50%
The Usifarma pharmacy chain celebrates the impressive numbers recorded at the 3rd Business Fair held on Thursday, 23rd, at Novotel Itajaí. There were more than 500 visitors, 30 pharmaceutical and dermocosmetic laboratories exhibiting and more than R$10 million in consolidated business. However, if the prospections are added together, the value exceeds the R$13 million mark.
“This edition exceeded all our expectations. This year we chose to change the format of the event to provide greater delivery of value to our customers and partners and this resulted in an increase in sales volume well above our projections. Business volume doubled compared to 2022”, explains managing partner Alessandro Bianchi.
He also highlights the networking-generating role of the event. “Our segment lacks moments like this and the 3rd Usifarma Business Fair came to fill this gap”. Adriano Roldão, sales coordinator of the perfumery and medicine products distributor Gan for Santa Catarina, highlights the importance of the fair for the company, both for the business carried out and for the strengthening of relationships with customers.

“This event makes it easier to do good business, enabling products to reach the end customer at competitive prices. This structure provided by Usifarma provides us with this”, he adds. The organization and logistics of the fair were carried out by the company Rosa Fatho Eventos Criativos.
New brand
The UsiVit Plus + line includes the old vitamin C, already traditional in the pharmaceutical market; complexes with collagen production functions, increasing energy levels, protein synthesis, improving the immune system, anti-aging functions and improving nutrient absorption.
“We realized the need to improve the quality of life of the people around us and so we chose to contribute to the creation of the UsiVit Plus + line, enabling healthy supplementation of nutrients that are crucial for the proper functioning of the body at all ages. ”, explains Alessandro. All items are regulated by Anvisa.
Solidity
The Usifarma pharmacy chain ends this year with 255 franchised pharmacies in the states of Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná and Mato Grosso do Sul and a turnover of more than R$250 million, an increase of 8,7% on revenue last year, R$ 230 million. However, it is continually working to reach revenue of R$300 million in 2024 and grow 30% in relation to 2022 results.
To achieve this revenue, the business group wants to increase the number of franchises by 25%, reaching more than 320 pharmacies. The expansion plan also includes the launch of the UsiVit Plus+ brand. The Usifarma Network emerged around 20 years ago in the Santa Catarina cities of Caçador, Campos Novos and Fraiburgo, but for 11 years it was restricted to the micro-region. It was nine years ago that the pharmaceutical group created the Usifarma franchise and expanded borders.
