The São Paulo Government Opened a New Selection Process to Hire Thousands of Teachers for Technical Education in State Schools. The Selection Will Be for Action Starting in 2026.
The Secretary of Education of the State of São Paulo (Seduc-SP) started on Thursday (17) the registrations for the simplified selection process aimed at forming a registry for about 5,000 vacancies for teachers in the Technical High School Courses in 2026.
Registrations will be open until August 11, exclusively on the Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) website: https://conhecimento.fgv.br/concursos/seducsp25.

The vacancies are distributed across the 91 regional education directorates of the state.

Professionals with a degree in education, bachelor’s degree, technologist, as well as technicians with proven experience and specialists with recognized expertise, according to Deliberation CEE No. 207/2022, can participate.
The expected salary is R$ 5,565.00 for a workload of 40 hours per week.

Areas with Opportunities
The selection process encompasses six technological axes. The vacancies are for technical courses planned in the state network starting in 2026. The areas are:
- Management and Business (Administration, Logistics and Sales)
- Health (Nursing and Pharmacy)
- Information Technology (Data Science, Systems Development and Robotics)
- Natural Resources (Agribusiness)
- Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure (Accommodation)
- Control and Industrial Processes (Electronics)
There are also vacancies for other technical components of the educational itineraries.
Each regional education directorate will have a specific set of courses, according to local demand and student interest. The complete list is available in Annex VI of the announcement.
Stages of the Process
The selection will have four stages:
- Objective Test: 30 questions, with 10 on pedagogical knowledge and 20 specific to the chosen axis.
- Discursive Test: 1 essay question, worth up to 20 points, addressing pedagogical practices and technical topics.
- Practical Test: video between 5 and 7 minutes simulating a class.
- Title Evaluation
The objective and discursive tests will be held on September 28, in the 77 municipalities hosting the education directorates. Videos for the practical test must be submitted between August 18 and September 15.
Other Information
Upon registration, candidates may choose up to two education directorates and up to two test axes, as long as the times do not coincide.
The registration fee is R$ 49.00. Affirmative actions are planned for candidates who are Black, Brown, Indigenous, people with disabilities, and foreigners with legal residency in Brazil.
