Google is offering free online courses (EAD) for professional qualification, with certificates in cloud computing, infrastructure and network security, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. The classes are offered by the My Chance Program, a partnership between the São Paulo State Department of Economic Development (SDE) and the Paula Souza Center (CPS) with Google.

The announcement of the opening of the vacancies was made on Wednesday evening (10/13), during a live session. “With this partnership, we will provide our youth with access to job opportunities, entrepreneurship, and income, as well as the chance to build a promising career in technology,” said the Executive Secretary of the SDE, Marina Bragante.

The Deputy Director-Superintendent of CPS, Emilena Lorenzon Bianco, highlighted the importance of this new opportunity for students from Etecs and Fatecs. “This course with Google is crucial to enhance our students’ resumes in addition to their education,” she said.

Patrick McDermott, the manager of Google’s Learning Program, emphasized the high demand from companies for qualified professionals in cloud computing technology. “Today, the vast majority of companies feel that the lack of qualified professionals is a limiting factor for their growth.”

Below Are Instructions on How to Secure a Spot in the Free Online Professional Qualification Courses with Certificates Offered by Google

Students from Technical Schools (Etecs), State Technology Colleges (Fatecs), and other interested individuals aged 14 and older can apply.

“Those who take this course are qualified to fill an entry-level position in an IT company or a technical interlocutor position in any other business sector,” explains Antonio Celso Duarte, the coordinator of the My Chance Program at the Paula Souza Center (CPS).

All registered candidates will receive a preparatory course from Google, lasting six hours, that begins immediately after the registration period ends, with a deadline to complete it in one week.

Completing this stage is important to attend the main course classes, which will start on November 8 and run until December 19. The content will be taught by CPS instructors and market specialists. At the end of the training, the best participants will receive free access to Google’s advanced course platform.
