Araquari, Santa Catarina – The BMW Group Brazil has plenty of reasons to set off fireworks and cut the cake: its factory in Araquari, the largest premium car production facility in South America, celebrates today nine years of successful operation. Since its inauguration, more than 90,000 vehicles have come off the assembly lines, and the company has maintained leadership in the national premium segment since 2018.
The information comes directly from Otávio Rodacoswiski, General Director of the unit, who emphasized the company’s commitment to producing high-quality vehicles with minimal environmental impact. “We are talking about a journey that goes beyond the asphalt and also cares about the world we will leave for future generations,” said Rodacoswiski.
Highlighted Models: Series 3 and X1 Step Up to the Podium
The Series 3 and X1, which are manufactured in Araquari, have been favorites among Brazilians, leading their respective sales categories in the country. But that’s not all: the plant is also responsible for the production of other impactful models, such as the X3 and X4.
