Who Can Withdraw?
To request a withdrawal from the FGTS, it is necessary for the user to have a balance in their account and not to have made withdrawals for disaster reasons in the last 12 months.
It is important to pay attention to the deadlines for requesting the redemption of the amount due to the affected areas. The deadline for Rondon is February 15, 2023; for São Bento do Sul, March 5, 2023; and for Cruzeiro do Oeste, April 24, 2023.

When registering a request, you can indicate a bank account from Caixa, such as the Caixa Tem Digital Savings Account, or from any other financial institution for receiving the amounts at no additional cost. The process is simple:
To withdraw the FGTS during the public disaster, it is necessary to download the FGTS app and enter your registration data. Then, access the “My Withdrawals” option and select “Other Withdrawal Situations — Public Disaster.” To proceed, provide a copy of your identity and a proof of residence issued up to 120 days before the declaration of the disaster. After that, choose how you wish to receive the requested amount: CAIXA account, including the Digital Savings CAIXA Tem, or another bank. The request review is conducted within five business days.

Approximately 35 municipalities in the states of Espírito Santo, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Santa Catarina received active payments from the FGTS Withdrawal due to the public disaster.
