Project in Águas Lindas Integrates Cluster of R$ 194 Million and Reinforces Fictor Energia’s Commitment to Sustainability and Economy for Consumers.
Fictor Energia, in partnership with Grupo WTT, has just taken a new step towards the democratization of renewable energy in Brazil. The company officially started the operation of Futuro II, the second solar plant of the Goiás Cluster, located in the city of Águas Lindas de Goiás, in the metropolitan region of the Federal District.
This action reinforces Fictor Energia’s commitment to sustainability and the transition to a cleaner, more efficient, and accessible energy matrix.
Solar Power Plant Brings Economy and Sustainability to More Than Six Thousand Homes
With a generation capacity of 11,752.08 MWh per year, Fictor Energia’s new photovoltaic plant has the potential to meet the average consumption of 6,434 households.
-
Solar energy can increase property value by up to 10% and become a selling point.
-
Solar and wind energy surpass natural gas for the first time in the world and accelerate energy revolution
-
Africa has about 500,000 cell towers and most still burn diesel to operate, while companies rush to cover antennas with solar energy and avoid signal blackouts.
-
Farmers swapped diesel for solar panels in Pakistan, powered irrigation pumps almost cost-free, expanded rice fields, and now groundwater has become a red alert in the countryside.
All this clean energy will be distributed to consumers through compensation credits, which can represent up to 30% savings on electricity bills.
The distribution occurs via the Equatorial Goiás network, reinforcing the distributed generation model regulated by ANEEL.
Fictor Energia bets on this format to expand access to solar energy, even among consumers who do not have their own infrastructure for panel installation.
Thus, with the help of WTT, environmental impact is reduced and users gain financial predictability, protecting themselves from fluctuations in energy tariffs.
Cluster of Photovoltaic Plants Will Be Completed by 2026
Fictor Energia’s project in partnership with WTT plans the installation of eight photovoltaic plants in the state of Goiás, with investments totaling R$ 194 million.
By 2026, the Goiás Cluster will reach a mark of 44 MWp of installed capacity, which could generate approximately 78 thousand MWh per year.
According to Abelardo Sá, Director of Infrastructure and Energy at Fictor Energia, the goal is to show that solar energy can be a viable and profitable alternative for different consumer profiles.
“We want to open a new perspective for consumers in Goiás, such as agribusiness entrepreneurs, that it is viable and economical to work with clean, sustainable energy that benefits the environment,” the executive claims.
The operation of Fictor Energia’s new photovoltaic plant will prevent the emission of 381.94 tons of CO₂ per year, which is equivalent to planting more than 2,600 trees.
