The digital bank Nubank announced the opening of vacancies for business analysts. The company's focus is to make these vacancies available to black people and it is not necessary to have experience in the area to apply for vacancies. In addition, the first 5 applicants will receive free technical business training. To apply for vacancies, it is necessary to consider yourself black, have basic business notions and analytical skills and, finally, be at the beginning of your career.

According to the magazine Examination, Nubank currently has 5.400 employees, 33% of which are black employees. Nubank made around 1.200 vacancies available to blacks in 2021 and estimates that by 2025 it will have made at least 2 vacancies available to blacks.

How will the training program work?

In order for candidates to be able to prepare for the selection process, Nubank will provide an online training program, completely free of charge, for the first 5 candidates for vacancies. This course will take place between February 22nd and March 29th and will have four modules, namely:

  • Module 1 – Calculation and Logic
  • Module 2 – Business and finance
  • Module 3 – Troubleshooting
  • Module 4 - Communication

Those who apply will have access to videos and complementary materials, in addition to the classes that will be recorded.

The selection process

To participate in the selection process, you must register at this link. Applications will be open until February 15th.

The first stage of the selection process for vacancies for black people at Nubank will be the online tests, which will take place between March 14th and 20th. As of March 22, candidates will be called for the interview, which will take place between March 30 and April 12. From the 18th to the 20th of April, feedback on the candidates' performance in the process will be sent, so that those approved start working at Nubank from the 9th of May.
