The Internship Positions Offered by Braskem Will Last from One to Two Years, Starting in January 2023
The petrochemical Braskem is accepting applications for its 2023 Internship Program. The purpose of offering these internship positions at Braskem is to highlight the company’s values and also attract university and technical students, with a focus on hiring women, black individuals, and people with disabilities.
Braskem’s goal with the internship positions is to hire 50% of professionals from the female sector, 45% of black individuals, and 5% of people with disabilities. For the technical internship, Braskem’s goal is to select 50% women and 45% black individuals through the available positions.
In this new edition of Braskem’s Internship Program, over 370 positions will be offered in the states of São Paulo, Bahia, Rio Grande do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, and Alagoas. Braskem’s Program will last from one to two years, starting in January 2023.

Eligible Individuals to Apply for Braskem’s Internship Positions
The positions offered by Braskem are available for university students who are in at least their second year of undergraduate studies in various higher education courses. Technical students must have a minimum of one year of enrollment with the educational institution. Braskem is offering positions in the following courses:
- Chemistry;
- Plastics;
- Mechanical;
- Automation;
- Electronics;
- Electroelectronics;
- Environmental;
- Occupational Safety;
- Petrochemical;
Those interested in the internship positions offered by Braskem must be available to intern for 30 to 40 hours per week.

The benefits provided by Braskem for university-level interns include:
stipend, transportation voucher or parking, meal voucher or cafeteria, health insurance, and life insurance.
For technical internship positions, the benefits are:

Braskem Invests in a New Digital Format for Hiring Black Individuals
In order to achieve proposed goals, Braskem is investing in what is called the “Jornada Preta,” a format that seeks to expand the experience of the black audience, enhancing and boosting the entry of black university students into the job market and increasing their representation within the company.
Braskem’s new initiative will take place on an immersive platform by Bettha, a startup from the Companhia de Talentos Group, where candidates will navigate a path filled with videos and podcasts and will also be able to access the channel to register for the Braskem Internship Program.
The platform also allows for interactions in a forum supervised by a Bettha administrator, to engage individuals in specific topics and mediate discussions. Braskem’s new initiative will start operating on August 22, with exclusive and free content that will be available throughout the application period.
