Engie Brasil Energia, formerly Tractebel Energia, is one of the largest private energy generators in Brazil, holding a market share of about 6.2% in the Brazilian market. The company recently opened applications for its 2020 internship program.

Engie has its own installed capacity of 7,868.1 MW, comprised of 31 plants operated by it, of which eleven are hydropower plants, three thermal power plants, and sixteen complementaries: three biomass, nine wind, two small hydroelectric plants (PCHs), and two solar. It operates 85% of installed capacity from clean and renewable sources. The company currently has over 50 job opportunities in various regions.

Applications for its internship program are open until June 12, aimed at students in technical and higher education who want more than just an internship, but an opportunity for development.
Engie offers positions in different areas for internships at its Corporate Center and in the Energy Solutions and Gas Infrastructure (TAG) business lines, located in the three capitals where the company has offices and operations: Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Florianópolis.
Requirements:
- Have availability to intern 30 hours per week;
- Be a student of one of the courses with open positions;
- Have availability to intern in the city where the internship will take place;
- Have graduation forecast between December 2021 and July 2022 (higher education).

The internship is expected to start between July 15 and August 15 and will follow the guidelines regarding the return of offices and operations in each location, possibly starting with online onboarding and activities in home office.
