How to Request the PIS/Pasep Allowance?
To request the PIS/Pasep allowance, private sector workers must go to a Caixa Econômica Federal branch, carrying the Citizen Card and registered password. Public servants should go to Banco do Brasil, also bringing a valid identification document and the registered password on the Pasep.
If the worker does not have the Citizen Card, they can request its issuance at a Caixa Econômica Federal branch. If the person does not remember the registered password, they can request a reset at the same branch.
Extra Batch Will Be Paid to 1.4 Million Workers
According to the Ministry of Labor and Employment, an extra batch of PIS/Pasep will be paid to workers born in January, February, March, and April who did not receive the amount released at Caixa or Banco do Brasil in the first two batches due to some divergence in the system. After reprocessing of the data carried out by Dataprev (government technology company), 1.4 million workers are eligible to receive the benefit in this batch. The total amount released reaches R$ 1.4 billion.
