Undeniably, Açu Petróleo at the Port of Açu is the result of a partnership between Prumo and Oiltanking, dedicated to providing safe, efficient, and sustainable oil handling infrastructure and services.
In summary, the company has been operating the oil terminal (T-OIL) at the Port of Açu since 2016, the largest port-industry complex in the country. Licensed to handle 1.2 million barrels per day and with a depth of 25 meters, T-OIL is the only private Brazilian terminal capable of receiving VLCC-class vessels. The terminal has a strategic location in the North of the State of Rio de Janeiro and also has an expansion plan that foresees the provision of storage, treatment, and mixing services for oil.
