The announcement for the anticipated public competition of the National Agency of Civil Aviation (ANAC) is near. Last Tuesday (14), ANAC announced the hiring of the organizing bank, confirming that Cebraspe will be responsible for organizing and conducting the selection process. This competition aims to fill 70 immediate vacancies for the position of Specialist in Civil Aviation Regulation, marking a significant opportunity for professionals in the sector.

The candidates approved for the specialist in civil aviation regulation position in the public competition of the National Agency of Civil Aviation will be responsible for specialized activities in regulation, inspection, oversight and control of civil aviation, air services, and auxiliary services for civil airport infrastructure, among others.
The opportunities for the ANAC competition will be aimed at candidates with a completed higher education degree. The starting salary for the approved candidate will be R$ 16,413.35, which can reach R$ 22,929.74, including the food allowance of R$ 658. With the announcement expected this month, the public competition of the National Agency of Civil Aviation may offer up to 316 opportunities. The number is included in the proposal made by Cebraspe.

In the document, the bank indicates that the 316 specialist vacancies will be divided into three areas. The first two areas will have 25 immediate vacancies and 85 for the reserve list each, while the third will have 20 immediate vacancies and 76 for the reserve list. To enter area 1, the candidate must have a higher education degree in any field. Area 2 will require a higher education diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Aeronautical Engineering.
Meanwhile, area 3 will require a higher education degree in Economics or Accounting. It is worth noting that for areas 2 and 3, registration with the professional body will also be a requirement. The candidates approved in the ANAC competition will be assigned, preferably, to Brasília (DF) and São Paulo (SP).
Steps of the ANAC Public Competition
According to the terms of reference for the new ANAC competition, candidates will be evaluated through objective tests, training course, discursive tests, title proofs, and biopsychosocial evaluation (for those registered for PcD vacancies) and hetero-identification (for Black candidates). The objective tests will consist of 120 true or false questions. There will be 70 items of General Knowledge and 50 Specific items.
The discursive stage will consist of a specific situation related to the desired specialty. The text must have up to 45 lines. For the training course, only candidates approved in the previous stages and classified within the 70 initially planned vacancies will participate.
According to the terms of reference, the training course for the public competition of the National Agency of Civil Aviation will be conducted in a hybrid format, and activities will take place in Brasília, at the ANAC Training Center, with a workload of up to 160 class hours (100 hours in person and 60 hours in the EAD mode).

The last public competition of the National Agency of Civil Aviation had an announcement published in 2015, with tests in 2016. The competition was valid for one year, extended for the same period.
Homologations were carried out as the processes were completed, with the last dated June 1, 2019 for the positions of specialist in Civil Aviation Regulation, being the only position offered that included a training course. The ANAC competition included Objective Test, Discursive Test, Title Test and Training Course.
