The Federal Institute of Goiás published the Public Notice No. 08/2025 for the Unified Selection Process for admission to undergraduate courses in 2026, with spots distributed across 11 campuses and classification exclusively based on ENEM scores from 2012 to 2025.
Applications will take place from October 20, 2025, to January 11, 2026, online.

The public notice makes it clear that the total score will be the simple arithmetic mean of the four areas of knowledge of the exam plus the essay score.
Candidates with zero in the essay will be eliminated.
Furthermore, the schedule provides for phases of review and appeals after the approval of applications and the release of results, with dates linked to the official release of ENEM 2025 for educational institutions.

Quotas System and Vacancy Reservation Criteria
The process follows federal legislation on affirmative actions, reserving vacancies according to Law No. 12,711/2012 and Ordinance No. 18/2012, updated by Ordinance No. 2,027/2023, considering percentages based on the 2022 IBGE Census.
There are subgroups that combine criteria of public school, income, self-declaration PPI, disability, and quilombola identity, both for incomes equal to or below one minimum wage per capita and independently of income.
Initial filling occurs via open competition, and afterward, reserved vacancies are distributed according to the remnant flow defined in the public notice’s annex.
Supporting documentation for quotas will be required at the enrollment stage, following guidelines that will be published alongside the final results.
Official Calendar and Stages After ENEM
The public notice was published on October 13, 2025.
Applications open at noon on October 20 and close at 11:59 PM on January 11, 2026.
The list of approved applications will be released on January 13, with appeals on January 14 and the final result of applications on January 16.
The remaining dates for preliminary results, appeal periods, and the final result of the process depend on the release of ENEM 2025 scores for institutions.
Application Rules and Score Validation
Applications are exclusively online, on the IF Goiano portal, within the schedule deadline.
The candidate must provide their own CPF, as the score consultation is done directly from the INEP database.
The system will only accept data from participants of the ENEM between 2012 and 2025.
Those who are not listed in this database or use third-party CPF will be eliminated.
Each candidate may submit one application and must choose between open competition or the quota reservation system at the time of registration.
