Expanding Your Business and Activities in Subsea in Brazil, Aker Solutions Will Provide Specific Solutions for the Lapa Field in Brazil’s Pre-Salt
Aker Solutions has signed a contract to supply tools to the Lapa Northeast field (BM-S-9A Block), operated by Total. The contract will be executed at the Technology Center in Brazil and the first delivery is scheduled for November 2019. “This project will be the first equipment supply for a COI in Brazil and is an important step towards diversifying our portfolio in the country. We have the people and resources to meet the new market needs,” says Woodson Ferreira, Vice President of Customer Management in Brazil.
Aker Solutions Develops Carbon Capture and Liquefaction Technology
Aker Solutions has signed an agreement for the delivery of carbon capture and liquefaction at the waste-to-energy plant of Twence in Hengelo, Netherlands. The solution that will capture CO2 emissions from Twence is called Just Catch, a modular carbon capture system developed by Aker Solutions to be as simple, affordable, and eco-friendly as possible.
