New Amazon Distribution Center in Ceará Announced. Company Also Has Job Openings in the State

Amazon continues to invest in expanding its operations in Brazilian territory. On Wednesday, the 25th, the e-commerce giant announced its new distribution center in Ceará. The goal of the investment is to increase Amazon’s logistics capacity in Brazil.

Amazon has already built six distribution centers in Brazil. Four of them are located in the state of São Paulo, while Rio Grande do Sul and Ceará house the remaining ones. The Amazon distribution center is located in the city of Itatinga.

The company has not disclosed when it will start operating its new distribution center; however, Amazon expects this to happen in the coming months: “The purpose of the new operation is to increase the company’s logistics reach in Brazil, improving customer experience by having a greater quantity and proximity of products in the region and reducing delivery times nationwide.”
