Generating new jobs and income, the Neorubber industry will arrive in the interior of Ceará after an investment of 8 million. There will be more than 500 new opportunities generated by the company
Ceará has just won another footwear investment in the interior of the State. This Friday morning (23) a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Government and Neorubber Indústria de Sandálias LTDA, which marked the announcement of the installation of a company unit in Crateús (CE), which promises to generate more than 500 job vacancies.

With the mission of generating new jobs and income for the region, Neorubber will benefit from the Industrial Development Fund (FDI), a Program for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (PROAD), of the Government of Ceará. The structures will consist of two existing 2,2 m² sheds and a 3 m² shed, which will be built.
According to the state Chief Executive, the government of Ceará has acted on several fronts, such as the creation of Ceará Credi, launch of new public tenders, which mean 11 new job openings and several other strategies to attract new investments. It is worth mentioning that the state, in the last six years, has invested the most in Brazil.
Company will produce 30 pairs of shoes per day
In order for 30 pairs of shoes to be produced in the footwear industry, around 500 jobs will be created by the company and the project will receive an investment of approximately R$ 8 million to be built.
The arrival of Neorubber in the municipality of Ceará marks the consolidation and expansion of the company in the state, in addition to the satisfaction and confidence of entrepreneurs José Luiz Diel and Paulo César Diel in receiving investments in the region.
According to Paulo César, the project itself will start in practice and for the group it is a huge gratification to be in Ceará for over 20 years and to be able to generate several job openings in the countryside.
Crateús authorities speak out
According to Marcelo Ferreira Machado, mayor of Crateús, this is a huge step for the city's economy and he said he felt honored with the installation of the shoe industry. Janaína Farias, Special Secretary for the Government of Ceará, highlighted the importance of the project's arrival in the backlands of the state as an economic and social incentive for several nearby municipalities.
According to the secretary, it will not only impact the municipality, but the entire Sertões de Crateús region. The region is lively and busy, as it is convinced that new businesses will emerge with the arrival of the footwear industry.
