Siri AI enters a new phase and promises to change the iPhone experience
The main novelty presented by Apple was the new generation of Siri AI, which will have its own application and more integrated operation with the system.
The assistant has been redesigned to be more fluid, intuitive, and natural during daily use.
According to the company, the new Siri will use Gemini, from Google, as support technology.
With this advancement, the assistant will be able to better understand what appears on the iPhone screen through the so-called visual intelligence.
During the presentation, Siri identified a location displayed in an Instagram photo and suggested a route via Apple Maps.
The iPhone camera will also gain a Siri Mode for visual searches, such as nutritional information of a dish.
Apple also showed that Siri will be able to access real-time updated data, such as World Cup tables and team rankings.
According to the company, the assistant’s voice will become more natural and expressive.
The new Siri AI will initially be launched in English and will arrive in other languages soon.

Liquid Glass becomes more adjustable and changes the appearance of icons
The Liquid Glass visual also gained prominence during the iOS 27 presentation.
Now, the glass-inspired translucent effect can be more personalized by the user.
Thus, it will be possible to choose between a more transparent or more opaque appearance, with a dark tone.
App icons like Maps and Safari received visual updates.
With the change, they now display more transparency, brightness, and reflection effects.
Apple apps receive new artificial intelligence features
Apple also announced AI features for Safari, Messages, Mail, Calendar, and Phone.
According to the company, the proposal is to make these apps more connected to each other.
In the Home app, for example, the system will start generating automatic summaries of images captured by security cameras.
Thus, the user will be able to see descriptions like âman delivered a packageâ or âperson arrived with a basket of fruits.â
The Image Playground will gain tools to create scenes and illustrations with AI.

System promises more speed on iPhones, iPads, and Macs
Apple stated that iOS and macOS will become faster with improvements in RAM and processor usage.
According to the company, one of the areas that will benefit is browsing the iPhone’s photo library.
Searches on Macs, iPads, and iPhones are expected to become more agile due to changes in file indexing.
Part of these improvements will also reach older models, such as the iPhone 11.
AirDrop has also been updated.
According to Apple, the file transfer tool will be up to 80% faster than the previous version.
AirPods and child safety also included in the package
Apple also announced that AirPods will have access to an audio equalizer in upcoming system versions.
The company introduced new measures aimed at the safety of children and teenagers in the digital environment.
In partnership with the American Academy of Pediatrics, Apple announced a device usage plan for those under 13 years old.
With this measure, parents will have more tools to control content accessed by their children in apps and games.
Children will be able to request permission to access websites or use apps directly from Apple devices.
