According to Notice 453/2024, IFMG is offering 10 positions for on-site tutors under the Open University of Brazil (UAB) Program.
The positions are distributed across five poles: Bambuí, Bom Despacho, Campo Belo, Ilicínea, and Nova Serrana. Each pole has two available positions, and candidates must meet rigorous criteria to apply.
What are the criteria to apply? A bachelor’s degree in any field of knowledge is required, as well as at least one year of experience in higher education teaching.
Another important requirement is to present a declaration proving that there is no reduction in workload for training, in case the applicant is a server of IFMG.
Additionally, the candidate must be available to fulfill 20 hours of weekly activity, consisting of 12 hours online and 8 hours on-site.
How much does a tutor earn? Selected tutors will receive a scholarship of R$ 1,100.00, as stipulated by CAPES Ordinance No. 35 of February 16, 2025.
However, it is important to highlight that the scholarship amount is temporary and does not create an employment bond with IFMG, which may be a point to consider for interested candidates.
Selection Process: Applications, which close on October 24, 2024, must be submitted exclusively through the electronic form available on IFMG’s official website.
The selection process will consist of a curricular analysis, with a maximum score of 100 points.
The classification of candidates will be conducted in descending order, and the best-ranked will be called as needed for the course.
