The Vision and Expansion of BAMIN
BAMIN is undertaking the construction of a new logistics corridor to integrate exports focused on mining and agribusiness in Brazil. This includes the Pedra de Ferro Mine, located in the city of Caetité, and other integrated logistics projects, such as the deep-water terminal Porto Sul, in Ilhéus.
Additionally, the development of section 1 of the West-East Integration Railway (FIOL 1), which will have a length of 537 km, will connect Caetité to the Porto Sul in Ilhéus, signaling a significant positive impact on the country’s logistics sector.
