Free technical course with Senar’s hybrid model
Over 1,200 hours of workload, the course combines distance learning with mandatory in-person activities, ensuring that part of the training occurs directly at the centers, with practical monitoring and supervised evaluations.
Although most of the content is offered online, the in-person meetings play an essential role in consolidating learning, bringing together technical activities, applied exercises, and moments of academic performance verification.
According to the released schedule, classes are expected to start on July 21, 2026, after the disclosure of results and the completion of in-person enrollments within the established calendar.
Before this stage, candidates go through classification phases, with results announced throughout June, including a preliminary list and the final result with the names approved for enrollment.
Distribution of vacancies by centers and states
The offer includes 22 centers distributed in seven states, covering Bahia, Ceará, Maranhão, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Pernambuco, and Tocantins, with a greater concentration in regions directly linked to agricultural production.
Among the states with the highest number of vacancies, Pará has 180 opportunities in six centers, while Mato Grosso do Sul concentrates 160 vacancies distributed across eight service units.
In addition to the capitals, the course’s presence extends to inland cities such as Barreiras, Barbalha, Quixeramobim, Camapuã, Chapadão do Sul, Ivinhema, Maracaju, and Três Lagoas, expanding the territorial reach of the training.
In the North of the country, municipalities such as Marabá, Itaituba, Xinguara, and Monte Alegre reinforce the targeting of the offer to areas with strong rural activity and growing demand for qualified professionals in occupational safety.
Requirements and who can participate in the selection process
To participate, it is necessary to be a native or naturalized Brazilian and have completed high school, also meeting the documentary requirements defined in the public notice for validation of registration.
The selection process establishes a division between priority public and general public, creating distinct competition criteria according to the candidate’s connection with rural activities.
The priority group includes rural producers, family members, and workers in the sector, who need to prove their activity through official documents, such as CCIR, DAP, CAF, or a union declaration.
On the other hand, candidates from the general public compete for remaining vacancies and must present a high school certificate and transcript, according to the rules for document submission established during registration.
Furthermore, Senar restricts the participation of candidates with active or canceled enrollment in the last two years in the institution’s technical courses, a measure that seeks to expand access and avoid duplication of vacancies.
Role of the occupational safety technician in Agro
Within the agricultural sector, the Occupational Safety Technician performs functions aimed at accident prevention, risk identification, and the application of occupational health standards in different productive environments.
Their work covers rural properties, agro-industries, cooperatives, and agribusiness companies, where they are responsible for guiding teams, monitoring working conditions, and supporting safety programs.
During the training, students develop competencies related to risk analysis, implementation of preventive measures, and monitoring of operational routines involving machinery, inputs, and rural logistics.
With this, the qualification meets the growing demand for qualified professionals in productive environments that require compliance with regulatory standards and safe practices in the field.
