New Electric Bike from Igogomi Shocks Trail Lovers with Its Versatility and Practicality
The Igogomi brand recently launched its Off-Road electric bike, designed with sturdy tires to ride on various types of terrain, including trails. The model is quite compact, weighing only 32 kg (including the batteries), and features a folding mechanism.
The Off-Road Bike Model Was Presented in Two Different Versions
The e-bike comes in two versions: Standard and Pro, both with a very appealing aesthetic. Igogomi describes the style of the frame as “bionic, simple, and elegant,” stating that it mimics the aerodynamic body of a dolphin. The colors are also very similar to those of dolphins, with the Standard version offered in Ice Blue, while the Pro comes in an elegant Midnight Grey. Adding positive points to the bike’s practicality rating, it features an easy-to-use folding mechanism located at the front of the bike.
Performance of the Electric Bike Made for Trail Riders
When it comes to performance, the Off-Road Pro outperforms the Standard, with a larger capacity battery. The 13 Ah battery in the Pro claims a range of up to 90 km per charge, while the 9.6 Ah battery in the Standard version can offer up to 75 km. The charging time for a full charge is approximately five hours. Additionally, both versions of the Off-Road are equipped with a robust 750W electric motor, with a maximum speed of 45 km per hour.

Regarding the base of the bikes, both have thick 20 x 4-inch tires, which allowed them to be labeled as Off-Road. Thanks to the large contact surface area and lower tire pressures provided by this configuration, the bikes can ride on anything – mud, snow, sand, and gravel. Moreover, they feature a good E-ABS system, as well as front and rear disc brakes. To top it off, the Off-Road bikes are made with a Shimano seven-speed transmission system.
Is the Price of These Electric Off-Road Bikes Really Affordable?
For such a versatile model, the price in the U.S. came as a pleasant surprise: US$ 1,700 for the Standard and US$ 1,800 for the Pro. Deliveries are expected to start in March 2023, and sales will be conducted through the company’s website based in California.
