However, it is worth noting that when this combination of factors occurs, this phenomenon may happen again.
Can It Harm Health?
Yes. According to doctors and environmental specialists, the particles carried by the “black rain” may contain fine particulate matter (PM2.5), soot, heavy metals, and toxic organic compounds. These pollutants are associated with:
- Asthma and bronchitis attacks
- Eye, throat, and skin irritation
- Increase in chronic respiratory diseases
- Heart risks in vulnerable groups
What to Do During the Phenomenon
