University Internship (30h) — Automation Area

In the Industrial Automation area, the mission is to lead projects, management, and development of automation systems, aiming to ensure effective process control and safety.
The objectives are: implementing control strategies to enhance operational efficiency, working on process safety related to automation, and ensuring the reliability and availability of systems.
The intern participates directly in developing all the mentioned initiatives, preferably being a student in courses such as control and automation engineering, chemical, electrical, mechatronics (or related technologist programs), ideally starting in the penultimate year in 2024.
The profile for this job requires desirable technical knowledge, including programming in any language, prior knowledge or willingness to deepen understanding in automation systems (PLC, SDCD, PIMS, MES/MOM, APC).
Modeling, simulation, and control of industrial processes, and interest in development in digital technologies (data science, artificial intelligence).

This professional will support the development of Strategic Projects and M&A at Braskem, playing a crucial role in preparing the economic and financial evaluation of various projects to inform strategic decisions.
With global operations, their role is essential in assessing the business model and profitability in various locations, with the goal of maximizing value for the company.
Main responsibilities include developing valuation models for strategic projects, leading the collection and analysis of information.
Additionally, preparing sensitivity and scenario analyses, supporting the structuring of the business model, preparing executive presentations for governance forums, supporting the risk assessment process, and monitoring the growth project portfolio.
Necessary requirements include:
- Academic background in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Accounting, or related fields;
- Experience in corporate finance, M&A, or new business areas;
- Knowledge in preparing financial feasibility studies, modeling and quantitative analyses, analytical and communication skills.
