If you have ever planned to leave work at full speed, the new Volkswagen Office Chair known as “The Chair“, is the perfect model. The product developed by the German vehicle factory includes, in addition to the electric engine itself, all the typical components of a car.
The chair features highly technological and safety components, and also includes headlights, reverse gear, multimedia system, horn, and seatbelt.
The Volkswagen office chair has five wheels instead of the four tires of a normal vehicle, in addition to a battery with a range of 12 kilometers, sensors to avoid collisions, LED lights, USB charger, and glove box.

Hyundai launches a 7-seater ‘Kombi’ cheaper than Chevrolet Spin, Citroën Aircross, and Tiggo 8 Pro in Brazil; for around R$ 78,500 in conversion without taxes, the Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz features a 1.5 engine, manual or IVT transmission, 205 mm ground clearance, and the SmartSense package that Brazilians don’t have yet, but Indonesia does.
Furthermore, “The Chair” has a range of 12 kilometers. The heated seat was designed with the cold winters of Norway in mind, where the chair was created by the company, and was modeled after the seats found in the manufacturer’s electric cars.
The concept that led to the invention of the Volkswagen Office Chair was, in fact, to include in an office chair model the greatest number of accessories that are present in the automaker’s cars.
However, anyone who has started thinking about buying one may reconsider. The Volkswagen office chair that ‘runs’ at 20 kilometers per hour is just a conceptual product and will not be marketed.
Volkswagen Office Chair Is a Concept Created by the Company to Promote Its Vehicles
According to motor1.com, “The Chair” is just a promotional launch of a single unit manufactured, aimed at publicizing the new types of electric vehicles being produced by the automaker. Customers interested in trying the Volkswagen office chair can do so at the displays of “The Chair” that will be set up in some dealerships. Check out the video:
