CIS Brasil started this afternoon job openings in Macaé for elementary school in the positions of head chef or cook. The company informs interested professionals that prior experience in the role will be a differentiator. Many job openings to work on the Petrobras FPSO P-50 announced this afternoon, March 3.

Petrobras and other partners in the Mero pre-salt will be supplied by Sandvik with stainless steel umbilical tubes, in the Brazilian offshore. According to the company, field developments in the region typically employ thermoplastic hose umbilicals.

For this contract, Sandvik will supply over 500 km (310 miles) of Sandvik SAF 2507 super duplex stainless steel umbilical tubes encapsulated by Prysmian Group. Mero is managed by the Libra Consortium, a partnership between Petrobras, Total, Shell Brasil, CNPC, and CNOOC.

The initial phase, Mero 1, requires 17 wells in a water depth of about 2,000 m (6,562 feet).
