On September 23, Petrobras announced via a statement that the P-50 platform, located in the Campos Basin, at the Albacora Leste field, had production preventively interrupted on the night of Sunday (22), due to the breakage of an anchoring system line.

Anchored by 15 other lines, the Petrobras FPSO P-50 platform was stable and safe, posing no risk to people or the environment. Currently, 178 people were working onboard the unit.
