The Centro de Ensino Tecnológico Institute (Centec), along with the State Secretariat of Science, Technology, and Higher Education (Secitece), opened more than 1,000 spots in ten free online initial and continuing education courses for the state of Ceará this Monday (2). The forecast is that online classes will start on August 9.

Although Centec has various Vocational Centers in 11 municipalities: Fortim, Ipu, Jucás, Maracanaú, Beberibe, Itaiçaba, Granja, Campo Sales, Acaraú, Santa Quitéria, and Brejo Santo, candidates from all over the state of Ceará will be able to participate in the vacancies, considering that the courses will be conducted in the EAD modality, with the mediation of instructors.

Note: It is worth mentioning that all these courses will last 40 hours, except for “Python: Algorithms and Programming Logic,” which will last 60 hours.
How to Enroll in Centec’s Free Online Courses
Enrollment for the free online courses must be done on Centec’s website until this Tuesday (3) or until all spots are filled. Individuals aged 16 and older in a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability, such as beneficiaries of the Mais Infância Card, unemployed, or those with an income equal to or less than a minimum wage per month, can participate in the free courses.
About the Results
It is important to note that, since the classes will be conducted in EAD format, candidates must have some electronic device with internet access, such as a computer, cell phone, or notebook.
The list of approved students in Centec’s free online courses in Ceará will be published on Friday (6) on the institution’s website mentioned above. Shortly thereafter, just like in other selection processes, the teachers will contact the candidates via email to provide the necessary information about the courses.
