Ceará | Centec Opens Registration for 600 Slots in Free Technical and Higher Education Courses

With a total of 600 vacancies for the second semester of 2020, the registrations (completely free) for Centec will be open until the 30th of this month

Registrations are open for the Instituto Centro de Ensino Tecnológico (Centec Ceará) together with the State Secretariat of Science, Technology and Higher Education (Secitece) for the entrance exam and selection process for technical and higher education courses. All courses are completely free, with no registration fee or tuition. There are 600 vacancies for the second semester. Registrations are from August 1st to 30th.

The vacancies are intended for Technical Vocational Centers (CVTEC) in Barbalha, Crato, and São Gonçalo do Amarante and for the Centec Technology Colleges (Fatec) in Cariri, in Juazeiro do Norte, and Sertão Central, in Quixeramobim.

The available higher education courses are in Food and Agribusiness Management, while the technical courses are in Agriculture, Cooking, Electro-electronics, Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanics, Environmental Sciences, and Metallurgy. It is worth noting that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, in-person classes may be transferred to a remote format.

Our entire team is dedicated to ensuring the quality of the courses offered.”

Selection Process

The entrance exam will be conducted online for 90 vacancies in higher education courses, with a total duration of two hours for an essay. After registration, candidates will have until the 30th of this month to take the test in the system. On the other hand, the selection process for 510 vacancies in technical high school courses will be conducted through an analysis of school records.

Half of the vacancies will be reserved for students who completed their entire high school education in public municipal schools. Candidates with special needs will have 3% of the vacancies reserved for them.
