Unique opportunity! Instituto Federal IFSul offers free online courses for 2025, including Administration and Engineering. Sign up now and secure your place to transform your career without leaving home!

In the current scenario, the search for affordable, quality higher education is a challenge for many Brazilians.

O Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of South Rio Grande do Sul (IFSul), however, decided to revolutionize this reality.

An innovative initiative promises to bring undergraduate courses to students' homes, free of charge, in a format that prioritizes flexibility and inclusion.

With limited vacancies and a range of attractive options, IFSul's latest call for applications could be the chance you've been waiting for to transform your professional and academic life. But what makes this initiative so special?

Free distance learning courses in 2025

IFSul Notice No. 187/2024 presents a selection process aimed at distance learning undergraduate courses (EaD), which will be offered in the first semester of 2025.

In partnership with the Open University of Brazil (UAB), the institution reaffirms its commitment to the democratization of higher education.

Among the courses offered are options in the areas of Administration, Engineering and Environmental Management, among others.

The diversity of options reflects IFSul's concern in meeting the demands of the job market and offering training aligned with current requirements.

What can you study?

According to the notice, vacancies are available for the following courses:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Administration;
  • Bachelor's Degree in Production Engineering;
  • Technology in Environmental Management;
  • Technology in Tourism Management;
  • Technology in School Processes;
  • Technology in Internet Systems.

Each of these courses was designed to meet the needs of specific audiences, with an emphasis on those who wish to combine quality teaching and flexible schedules.

Inclusion and diversity as a priority

As announced by IFSul, the selection process reserves 50% of vacancies for candidates from public schools. This measure seeks to promote social inclusion and ensure greater diversity among students.

Furthermore, interested parties must have completed high school, a basic prerequisite that increases the chances of accessing undergraduate studies for an even larger audience.

How will the selection be made?

According to the notice, the selection of candidates will be carried out based on objective criteria, ensuring transparency in the process. The following will be considered:

  • Final grades of the third year of high school in the subjects of Portuguese Language and Mathematics;
  • Performance in ENEM or ENCCEJA.

Candidates will be ranked in descending order, prioritizing those with the best grades.

Stay tuned to the schedule!

The notice establishes a detailed schedule for each stage of the selection process. Some important dates include:

  • Start of registration: 29/11/2024;
  • Registration deadline: 19/12/2024;
  • Preliminary approval of registrations: 10/01/2025;
  • Announcement of the final result: 27 / 01 / 2025.

Further dates for appeals and challenges are also planned, ensuring that the entire process is conducted in a fair and accessible manner.

Why is this initiative special?

In addition to offering free courses, IFSul stands out for providing quality training in an accessible model for different student profiles.

According to experts, distance learning is a growing trend, especially for those looking to combine studies with work or other responsibilities.

This teaching format also allows for greater geographic coverage, reaching students in regions where access to in-person education is still limited.

How to apply?

Registration is simple, but requires attention to detail. The interested must access the IFSul website between November 29 and December 19, 2024.

There, you will need to sign the attendance record, guaranteeing the approval of your registration.

More information can be accessed directly on the official IFSul website, where the full notice is available.

I don't think so! You need to read the notice. Because these courses have MANDATORY IN-PERSON activities and assessments.
