Chevrolet Spin 2027 debuts new LTZ configuration with five seats, more trunk space, and visual changes.

Chevrolet introduced the 2027 Spin lineup with specific changes to the minivan range sold in Brazil. The main novelty is the arrival of a new configuration of the LTZ version with five seats, a combination that increases trunk capacity without giving up more complete comfort and technology features.

The change expands the options available for consumers who prioritize interior space, especially professional drivers and people who use the car for daily transportation. Until now, the five-seat variants were restricted to the simpler versions of the model.

In addition to the new configuration, Chevrolet also updated trim details, wheels, and external elements in part of the lineup, according to information from Motor1.

With the inclusion of the five-seat LTZ, the minivan now offers an alternative aimed at those transporting passengers without the need for the third row of seats.

In this configuration, the rear compartment reaches 710 liters of capacity with the seats in a normal position. When the second row is folded, the volume rises to 1,021 liters.

In the seven-seat options, the numbers are smaller:

  • 553 liters with the extra seats folded
  • 162 liters with all seats in use

According to the manufacturer, this new proposal mainly caters to:

  1. Taxi drivers
  2. Executive transport drivers
  3. PdC audience
  4. Consumers who prioritize interior space

Chevrolet also highlighted that the height of the body facilitates access to the vehicle.

Equipment of the new LTZ version

The unprecedented configuration of the Chevrolet Spin 2027 combines expanded space with a more complete list of equipment.

Among the available items are:

  • Rear parking sensor
  • Digital air conditioning
  • Rain sensor
  • Alloy wheels
  • Keyless entry
  • Automatic headlights
  • Air vents for second-row passengers

The brand’s strategy was to offer a more equipped intermediate option without the requirement of seven seats.

Visual changes arrive in part of the line

Although the general structure of the minivan has been maintained, the 2027 line received small aesthetic adjustments.

In the LT version, the front bumper now features a darkened silver finish.

The LTZ and Premier versions received:

  • New darkened front grille
  • Redesigned wheels
  • Subtle updates to the external finish

The Premier configuration also gained adaptive high beams.

Another novelty is the inclusion of amber gray color, which replaces the old rush gray in the model’s palette.

Chevrolet Spin 2027 maintains a well-known engine in the market

In the mechanical part, Chevrolet did not make changes. All versions continue to use the Family I 1.8 engine with eight valves.

The engine, which originally appeared in 2002, remains available in a flex configuration.

The announced power remains at:

FuelPower
Gasoline106 hp
Ethanol111 hp

The transmission options vary according to the version:

  • Six-speed manual transmission in the LT
  • GF6 six-speed automatic transmission in other versions

Equipment remains present in the minivan

Even without deeper structural changes, Chevrolet maintained a wide list of equipment in the Spin.

The model continues to offer:

  • Six airbags
  • LED headlights
  • 8-inch digital dashboard
  • 11-inch MyLink center
  • Native Wi-Fi
  • OnStar services
  • Rearview camera

The brand also reinforced the continuation of the seven-seat versions in the LTZ and Premier configurations.
