This is the first phase of the program, the 7th Cisco Brazil CiberEducação Marathon. The course offered by Cisco and Faetec is divided into phases and will provide professional training to students, as well as internship and job opportunities.
The first phase is the Learn-A-Thon, a training marathon aimed at stimulating and empowering students in the exploratory NetAcad course “Fundamentals in Cybersecurity.” Remember, students who pass this phase will receive a certificate and a digital badge, and will be eligible to compete for scholarships for the next phases of the program.
Open to the general public, the first stage of the free course includes self-study where participants can proceed at their own pace to complete the course “Fundamentals in Cybersecurity” (30h). Students who complete the marathon will receive a certificate and a digital badge.
Requirements to Proceed:
- Have an interest in working in the cybersecurity segment.
- Have access to a computer and an Internet connection with minimum capacity to perform virtual practical activities (Computer: i3 processor, Windows 10, 4GB RAM, and 27GB hard drive. Internet: 5Mb).
To proceed to the next stage of the Marathon, it is necessary for the student to have the completion certificate for the Marathon course – “Fundamentals in Cybersecurity” and to be among the top 1,500 in the selection test focused on general knowledge of IT, Networks, and Cybersecurity, as well as interpersonal skills.
