Fiat Introduces The Tris, Three-Wheeled Electric Truck Designed For Quick Deliveries With A Range Of 90 Km And Easy Charging

Fiat has introduced a new electric vehicle that stands out for its size and purpose. The Tris is a compact three-wheeled truck designed to serve small businesses, such as deliveries and mobile services.

With an electric motor and practical features, it combines simplicity and functionality for daily commercial operations.

The Tris measures about 3.2 meters in length, making it shorter than a Honda Civic. Despite this, it offers a useful cargo area of 2.2 square meters and can carry up to 510 kg.

It is compatible with standard European pallets and can be purchased in three versions: truck, chassis-cabin, and platform.

Its 48-volt electric motor delivers 12 horsepower. The maximum speed reaches 45 km/h, ideal for urban areas.

The battery has a capacity of 6.9 kWh and allows for a range of up to 90 km per charge. Charging is done with standard outlets, reaching 80% charge in about 3 hours and 30 minutes and full charge in approximately 4 hours and 40 minutes.

Despite its compact size, the Tris comes with useful interior features such as a closed glove compartment, USB-C port, 12-volt socket, and digital panel. The lights are LED and follow Fiat’s new visual standards. It also includes safety items such as a three-point seatbelt and a reverse alarm.

Developed for markets in Africa and the Middle East, the Tris meets European safety standards. Fiat is also planning customization services for the model, offering solutions tailored to various commercial use profiles.

With a clear purpose and lightweight structure, the new Tris focuses on simplicity to attract companies that need agility and cost-efficiency in urban transport.
