Program Offers Scholarships and Benefits for In-Person Training of People with Disabilities in Industrial Areas, Lasting Six Months with Possibility of Hiring After Completion. Applications Are Open Until September 19.

Embraer has opened applications for 53 in-person positions aimed at people with disabilities, offering a monthly stipend of R$ 1,600 and the possibility of hiring upon completion of the training.

The free technical course has a duration of six months, begins in October, and takes place twice a week, with four hours each day dedicated to activities.

The program is targeted at residents of São José dos Campos, Jacareí, Caçapava, and Sorocaba, and applications can be submitted until September 19.

Applications until September 19

Applications are online and intended for those who are 18 years or older, have completed high school, and possess a medical report confirming their disability.

The program does not accept former employees.

The selection process occurs before the start of classes, scheduled for October, and prioritizes candidates residing in the cities included, respecting the distribution of vacancies by region.

Where the Positions Are and Which Training Programs

The majority of opportunities are in the Vale do Paraíba.

There are 37 positions in São José dos Campos, exclusive to residents of São José dos Campos, Jacareí, and Caçapava, focused on training logistics operators.

In the interior of São Paulo, Sorocaba will have 16 positions aimed at training maintenance assistants.

The classes will be in-person and will take place at units designated by the company in their respective cities.

How the Technical Course Will Be

The academic calendar starts in October and extends over six months.

During this period, classes meet twice a week, always in sessions of four hours.

The curriculum structure combines theoretical content and practical activities, focusing on routines that are part of the daily professional life in logistics and maintenance.

The goal is to accelerate learning and prepare participants for selection processes in operational areas of the aerospace industry.

Who Can Participate

The program is exclusively intended for people with disabilities, upon presentation of an updated medical report.

It is mandatory to have completed high school and be a legal adult at the time of application.

Another requirement is residency in the designated cities, especially concerning the 37 positions in Vale do Paraíba, which are reserved for residents of São José dos Campos, Jacareí, and Caçapava.

Embraer informs that former employees cannot participate in this edition.

Benefits During the Training

In addition to the monthly stipend of R$ 1,600, those selected will receive benefits with a formal contract throughout the training period.

The package includes medical plan, dental plan, transport voucher, life insurance, food voucher of R$ 400, and access to Gympass.

The granting of benefits is valid for the duration of the course and follows the company’s internal regulations.

What to Expect from the Logistics and Maintenance Tracks

In the logistics track, participants learn routines for receiving, storing, sorting, and moving materials.

It also includes concepts of safety and inventory control, with attention to good traceability practices adopted in the aerospace sector.

In the maintenance track, the focus is on the basic principles of maintenance of equipment and tools, workshop organization, technical reading, and safety procedures applied to industrial activities.

Both training programs are designed for the manufacturing environment and to support the company’s operations.

Steps After Completion

At the end of the academic period, participants who pass the subjects may interview and undergo internal processes.

Participation in the post-course selection does not guarantee automatic hiring, but it opens a doorway to positions compatible with the skills developed during training.

Academic performance, attendance, and alignment with job requirements count in this phase.

Why Focus on Strategic Cities

The distribution of positions follows the industrial presence of Embraer in São José dos Campos and Sorocaba.

These hubs concentrate supply chains, maintenance centers, and logistics operations.

By directing the program toward residents of these regions, the company aims to shorten the distance between training and the job market, reducing transportation costs and facilitating the transition to local opportunities.

Step-by-Step to Apply

Registration is done online and requires the submission of personal documents, proof of education, and a medical report attesting to the disability.

Candidates are advised to have their updated information on hand, including address and contacts, to expedite the filling process.

After registering, participants should stay informed about any additional steps, such as initial interviews, profile assessments, and confirmation of enrollment for the start of classes in October.

What to Consider Before Applying

In short courses, time management is crucial to keeping up with the pace of activities.

As classes are in-person and held on fixed days, it is recommended to evaluate availability of schedules, access to transportation, and compatibility with other routines.

Another relevant point is to verify if the chosen area — logistics or maintenance — aligns with the professional interests of the candidate.

This can enhance the chances of retaining the content and performing well in the final stages.

Deadlines and Upcoming Dates

The application period ends on September 19, and classes will begin in October.

The recommendation is to complete the registration in advance to avoid unexpected issues and ensure participation in the initial screening.

Once the classes are formed, the company will inform the selected individuals about locations, times, and instructions for the first week of activities.

With the stipend, benefits, and technical training in high-demand areas, the initiative aims to broaden access for people with disabilities to industrial careers.

Among the stipend, location, and hiring possibilities, which of these factors weighs the most in your decision to participate?
