The Brazilian Navy announced the opening of a selection process for the filling of 270 temporary positions in the Voluntary Military Service (VMS). The starting salary is approximately R$ 10 thousand and the positions are available for candidates of both genders with higher education. The majority of opportunities will be for work in the state of Rio de Janeiro, according to the Enfoco website.
Registrations Open Until January 2025
The registrations for the Navy selection process are open until January 6, 2025 and must be done exclusively online, upon payment of a fee of R$ 140.00. Among the prerequisites, candidates must:
- Be natural-born or naturalized Brazilians;
- Be between 18 and 41 years old by August 18, 2025;
- Be up to date with electoral and military obligations;
- Have a higher education diploma in the area of interest;
- Submit documentation such as CPF, background check certificates, and proof of good conduct.
Additionally, candidates who already have experience in the Military Service or as auxiliary force must respect the limit of six years of military service and hold the rank of First Lieutenant or lower.
