Process Offers 270 Temporary Positions for Various Areas and Accepts Candidates Up to 41 Years Old. Apply Now!

The Brazilian Navy announced the opening of a selection process for the filling of 270 temporary positions in the Voluntary Military Service (VMS). The starting salary is approximately R$ 10 thousand and the positions are available for candidates of both genders with higher education. The majority of opportunities will be for work in the state of Rio de Janeiro, according to the Enfoco website.

Registrations Open Until January 2025

The registrations for the Navy selection process are open until January 6, 2025 and must be done exclusively online, upon payment of a fee of R$ 140.00. Among the prerequisites, candidates must:

Be natural-born or naturalized Brazilians;
Be between 18 and 41 years old by August 18, 2025;
Be up to date with electoral and military obligations;
Have a higher education diploma in the area of interest;
Submit documentation such as CPF, background check certificates, and proof of good conduct.

Additionally, candidates who already have experience in the Military Service or as auxiliary force must respect the limit of six years of military service and hold the rank of First Lieutenant or lower.

Available Areas in the Navy Selection Process

The selection process offers positions in various areas of expertise. Check out the main options:

Health: Dentistry, nursing, physical therapy, nutrition, occupational therapy, among others.
Technical: Administration, law, accounting, computer science, social work, maritime traffic safety, among others.
Teaching: Subjects such as Spanish, physics, English, mathematics, pedagogy, and Portuguese.
Engineering: Civil, electrical, mechanical, naval, production, computer systems, and telecommunications.

The approved candidates will hold temporary positions as officers, with an initial contract of one year, renewable for up to eight years, in accordance with the regulations of the Voluntary Military Service.

Nós, praças que ja doamos uma vida inteira pra Marinha e com muito esforço conseguimos nos formar em uma universidade, não conseguimos uma oportunidades dessas… Poderiam abrir algo interno pra quem tem formação na área que está com necessidade e é praça. Mas se isso acontecesse, estariam permitindo um plebeu na mesa do alto clero.

Essa manobra é para ficarem sempre renovando e renovando, para não gerar lastro com aposentadorias. É uma maneira que estão usando nas três esferas militares. Logo, só teremos oficias que saem da Agulhas Negras e, Sargentos que são formados nas escolas. Os demais serão reciclados a cada 5 ou 7 anos. Só aguardar e confira lá na frente.
