The New Solar Energy Production Cluster Of Voltalia Will Be Installed In The State Of Minas Gerais And Has Been Named Arinos, A Project That Will Ensure Sufficient Energy Generation For The Supply Of The Company And Third Parties In The Region.
Recently, the energy company Voltalia announced its latest venture for the state of Minas Gerais, the project titled Arinos. This will be the company’s new solar energy production cluster in the region and is currently under development by the company. Therefore, by this Friday, (07/15), it is believed that the company will achieve sufficient energy production for its own supply and commercialization of surplus with third parties in the state.
New Solar Energy Production Cluster Of Voltalia, The Arinos Project, Will Be Installed In Minas Gerais And Will Have A Potential Capacity Of 1.5 GW
The Brazilian renewable energy market is increasingly growing, keeping pace with discussions about diversifying the national energy matrix, and companies are now investing in the sector within the national territory.
Thus, Voltalia, one of the largest companies in the segment, announced its latest solar energy production venture in Brazil, which will be installed in the Minas Gerais region over the coming years.

Named Arinos, Voltalia’s new project is a cluster, meaning an industrial conglomerate focused on producing a specific resource or product, and will be focused on solar energy generation in the region. This is yet another investment by the company for its growth in the clean energy market in Brazil and will have a total potential capacity of around 1.5 GW.
Therefore, the state of Minas Gerais will be home to another massive venture in the renewable sector, given that the region has strong potential for the segment.
The company also announced that the solar energy produced in the Arinos cluster in Minas Gerais will focus on the internal supply for Voltalia’s operations in the region. However, the company also intends to use the surplus to enter into new contracts with third parties and provide clean energy.
This is expected to occur after the achievement of the development milestones agreed upon between Voltalia and its partners, who will buy shares of the cluster for consuming the energy generated on-site, thus contributing to growth in the renewable market.
French Company Reinforces Its Position In The Renewable Energy Sector And Aims To Continue Expanding Its Presence In Brazil With The Solar Energy Cluster
The solar energy production cluster in the state of Minas Gerais is just another step in Voltalia’s expansion project in Brazil. This is because the company emphasized its intention to continue reinforcing its position in the renewable market with projects of this type over the coming years.
To that end, the company has a pipeline of 5.1 gigawatts of future projects under development and focuses on contributing to the growth of the sector in both the national and global markets.
In this way, the CEO of Voltalia in Brazil, Robert Klein, reinforced the company’s commitment and said: “Voltalia, which also has project development in its DNA, has a dedicated team at every stage, from evaluating potential and securing the best locations to launching construction, once the necessary licenses and authorizations are obtained. This dedication has yielded positive results: since its inception, the company has sold approximately half of the developed projects.”
Finally, Voltalia stated that the solar energy production cluster in Minas Gerais will be responsible for contributing to the socioeconomic development of the state and intends to prioritize the qualified local workforce, in addition to investing in socio-environmental actions during the development of the Arinos project.
