The Federal Public Ministry (MPU) is about to publish a new competition notice, according to information from the general coordinator of the National Association of Institutional Police Agents of the MPU and CNPM (AGEMPU), Laercio Bernardes.
In addition to the opportunities for Analyst and Technician positions, the competition provides 300 vacancies for the MPU Police position, created at the end of 2022 by ordinance no. 202.
According to Laercio, the appointments are intended for staff in the North region and the Attorney General's Office, located in Brasília-DF, as there is a significant shortage in the sector there.
The deputy general secretary of the National Union of Servers of the MPU, CNMP and ESMPU (SindMPU), Paulo Santiago, highlighted that the MPU competition must cover each of the positions in the hierarchy of the Federal Public Ministry, with a higher education requirement being mandatory for entry.

Commission wants to define organizing committee and number of vacancies
Today, the committee responsible for the MPU competition bureaucracies is committed to choosing the organizing committee and determining the number of places to be offered in the selection process.
According to information from the organization, the competition will include the positions of Analyst and Technician at the MPU, with salaries of R$13.202,62 for Analyst and R$8.046,85 for Technician.
Although the correct number of vacancies has not yet been established, the basic project reveals that there are currently 280 positions available. Furthermore, it indicates the reservation of 10% for people with disabilities (PwD) and 20% for black candidates.
How was the last Federal Public Ministry competition?
The last MPU contest took place in 2018, offering 22 immediate vacancies and also opportunities to form a reserve register in areas of secondary and higher levels. That year, those interested went through several evaluation stages, including an objective test of general and specific knowledge, a physical fitness test, a medical evaluation and a training course. The objective test consisted of 120 questions.
