The Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Union (MPU) Is About to Announce a New Competition Notice, According to Information from the General Coordinator of the National Association of Institutional Police Agents of the MPU and CNPM (AGEMPU), Laercio Bernardes.

In addition to the opportunities for Analyst and Technician positions, the competition provides for 300 vacancies for the MPU Police position, created at the end of 2022 by Ordinance No. 202.

According to Laercio, the appointments will be destined for the workforce of the Northern region and the Attorney General’s Office, located in Brasília-DF, as there is a significant shortage in the sector.

The Deputy General Secretary of the National Union of MPU Employees, CNMP, and ESMPU (SindMPU), Paulo Santiago, highlighted that the MPU competition should encompass each of the positions within the hierarchy of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Union, with a mandatory requirement of having a higher education degree for entry.

Commission Wants to Define Organizing Bank and Number of Vacancies

Today, the committee responsible for the bureaucracy of the MPU competition is focused on choosing the organizing bank and determining the number of vacancies to be offered in the selection process.

According to information from the agency, the competition will cover Analyst and Technician positions at the MPU, with salaries of R$ 13,202.62 for Analyst and R$ 8,046.85 for Technician.

Although the exact number of vacancies has not yet been established, the basic project reveals that there are currently 280 available positions. Furthermore, it indicates a reserve of 10% for people with disabilities (PcD) and 20% for black candidates.

How Was the Last Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Union Competition?

The last MPU competition took place in 2018, offering 22 immediate vacancies and also opportunities for forming a reserve registration in medium and higher-level areas. That year, the applicants underwent various evaluation stages, including an objective test of general and specific knowledge, a physical fitness test, a medical evaluation, and a training course. The objective test consisted of 120 questions.
