Port Of Itaguaí RJ Competition Is Open For Registration For 100 Job Openings. The Competition Focused On Basic Education Candidates Aims To Fill Positions For The Stevedore Role.

The latest initiative from the Port Labor Management Agency (OGMO RJ), located at the Port of Itaguaí, Rio de Janeiro, has just come to life with the official publication of its announcement, featuring approximately 100 job openings in the competition. This job opportunity stands out by offering a total of 100 positions for basic education candidates, a strategic role for casual port workers, a vital function for daily operations and logistical efficiency at the port.

The opening of these positions represents a significant advance for the region, promoting local development, stimulating the economy, and generating jobs. Required Requirements To Participate In The Basic Education Competition

The public-private competition is being organized by the Institute of Development and Training (IDCAP) and features its own legal employment regime for casual port workers, which will be governed by the Collective Labor Agreement (CCT) 2023/2025.

Register For The Porto De Itaguaí Competition

Registrations for the Porto de Itaguaí RJ competition must be made through the IDCAP website, from November 1 to December 10.

The registration fee, amounting to R$ 145, can be paid until December 11. Candidates registered in the CadÚnico can request an exemption on November 1 and 2. According to the announcement, candidates for the public competition will be evaluated through the following stages:

Psychological Evaluation Test;
Physical Assessment Test (TAF);
Medical Examination;
Document Verification and Requirement Proof;
Professional Training Course;
Objective Test.

The objective tests will be held in the municipalities of Rio de Janeiro and Itaguaí, on January 7, 2024. This will consist of 60 questions, which will be distributed among the subjects of Portuguese Language, Mathematics, Computer Science, Port Legislation, and Specific Knowledge.

How Will The Remaining Stages Of The Public Competition Be?

Candidates approved in the basic education competition and best classified in the objective tests will be called for the document verification stage. This stage will score:

Qualification in category “A”;
Qualification in category “B”;
Qualification in category “C”;
Qualification in category “D”;
Qualification in category “E”.

After the document verification, successful candidates will be called for the TAF, which will consist of the following exercises:

Upper limb flexion and extension test;
12-minute run test;
Grip strength test;
Wells bench test.

Upon completion of the TAF, the approved candidates from the Porto de Itaguaí-RJ competition will proceed to the psychological evaluation stage, which will involve the application and evaluation of psychological techniques, focusing on analyzing and matching the candidate to the professional profile of the activity.

After the psychological evaluation, successful candidates will be called for document presentation and medical examination. If approved, candidates will be enrolled in the training course. The public competition will be valid for two years.
