According to the announcement, the Porto de Itaguaí-RJ competition will be divided into seven stages. The objective tests are scheduled for January 7, 2024. The announcement for the Port of Itaguaí RJ competition provides 100 immediate vacancies plus training for a reserve list, for the position of casual port worker – stevedoring category. The position requires a complete primary education. The work schedule will be 6 hours daily.
The Casual Worker is one who provides services to a company occasionally and, despite not having an employment bond, has the same rights as bonded workers. The service intermediation is mandatorily conducted by the union of the category or by OGMO. The stevedore is a port professional dedicated to loading and unloading ships at the docks.
Register For The Porto De Itaguaí Competition
Registrations for the Porto de Itaguaí RJ competition must be made through the IDCAP website, from November 1 to December 10.
The registration fee, amounting to R$ 145, can be paid until December 11. Candidates registered in the CadÚnico can request an exemption on November 1 and 2. According to the announcement, candidates for the public competition will be evaluated through the following stages:
- Psychological Evaluation Test;
- Physical Assessment Test (TAF);
- Medical Examination;
- Document Verification and Requirement Proof;
- Professional Training Course;
- Objective Test.
The objective tests will be held in the municipalities of Rio de Janeiro and Itaguaí, on January 7, 2024. This will consist of 60 questions, which will be distributed among the subjects of Portuguese Language, Mathematics, Computer Science, Port Legislation, and Specific Knowledge.
How Will The Remaining Stages Of The Public Competition Be?
Candidates approved in the basic education competition and best classified in the objective tests will be called for the document verification stage. This stage will score:
- Qualification in category “A”;
- Qualification in category “B”;
- Qualification in category “C”;
- Qualification in category “D”;
- Qualification in category “E”.
After the document verification, successful candidates will be called for the TAF, which will consist of the following exercises:
- Upper limb flexion and extension test;
- 12-minute run test;
- Grip strength test;
- Wells bench test.
Upon completion of the TAF, the approved candidates from the Porto de Itaguaí-RJ competition will proceed to the psychological evaluation stage, which will involve the application and evaluation of psychological techniques, focusing on analyzing and matching the candidate to the professional profile of the activity.
After the psychological evaluation, successful candidates will be called for document presentation and medical examination. If approved, candidates will be enrolled in the training course. The public competition will be valid for two years.
