New ANPD public competition offers 213 vacancies at intermediate and higher levels, with opportunities in several areas of activity
A National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) is preparing for a new public tender which will offer a total of 213 vacancies for secondary and higher levels.
The new organizing committee was formed, as published in the Official Gazette of the Union on the day December 23. This structure is an update of a previous commission that had already been appointed earlier in the month.
Formation of the organizing committee
The new ordinance determines the command units that will be part of this group responsible for organizing the competition.

- The names of the representatives must be indicated within five days after the publication of the ordinance.
- After the committee is formed, the next steps include drafting the edict and the choice of the organizing committee.
- The selection start date will be confirmed after signing the contract with the chosen company.
It is important to highlight that, according to the authorizing ordinance, the publication of the notice must occur by May 18, according to the jcconcursos website.
Available vacancies and requirements for the new public competition
The 213 vacancies offered by ANPD, 11 are intended for candidates with high school education e 203 for higher level. Initial salaries have not yet been confirmed.
For the intermediate level, the selection will be focused on the career of specific training technical activities, while for higher level options include:
- 51 vacancies for higher level technical activities
- 101 vacancies for technical activities of intellectual complexity
- 50 vacancies for technical activities of managerial complexity, information technology and senior engineering
Justification for hiring
The need to hire temporary staff is due to the creation of the agency itself and the growing challenges imposed by General Law on Data Protection (LGPD), Law No. 13.709, August 14th, 2018.
The notice of opening of applications will clarify the duration of the contracts, which may be extended as needed.
Simplified selection process
According to CGA/ANPD Ordinance No. 326, December 18, 2024, a new Organizing Committee was established for the Simplified Selection Process.
This process is intended for hiring personnel for a fixed term, in accordance with the Law No. 8.745, December 9, 1993.
The commission will be composed of representatives from the following units:
- General Coordination of Administration (CGA)
- Human Resources Management Division of the General Administration Coordination (DGP/CGA)
- General Secretariat (SG)
Commission's duties
The responsibilities of the Organizing Committee include:
- Define tactical-operational guidelines and monitor the progress of the selection process
- Monitor the execution of the contract with the contracted organizing institution
- Manage the stages of the process, which include the analysis of notices, registrations, application of tests, among others
Selection for ongoing staff
In addition to the public competition for temporary hires, ANPD is also preparing for the first competition for permanent staff.
From 2023, the ANPD requested authorization from the Ministry of Management and Innovation of Public Services.
Currently, ANPD operates with 119 requested from other bodies, reinforcing the need to form its own staff.
