VOOLTA Is Knowledgeable in Supplying Equipment and Installing Chargers for Fast and Ultrasonic Electric Vehicles
October 2022 – A SolarVolt, a leader in solar integration in Minas Gerais and one of the most important in the country, is continuously growing in the electric and hybrid vehicles market and has planned a recent business unit in the market called VOOLTA, to dedicate engineering solutions for the charging sector. The brand launch is scheduled for the second half of October 2022
This new department specializes in the design, supply of equipment, and installation of infrastructure for fast (AC) and ultrafast (DC) chargers for electric vehicles. The company provides specialized consulting services to its clients. The new venture offers technical support with regulatory, technical, and financial information to ensure that charging options meet their real application needs.
According to Gabriel Guimarães, co-founder and sales director of SolarVolt and VOOLTA, the idea arose from the natural demand of customers buying electric and hybrid vehicles who found it difficult to locate a specialized company for charger installation. “We strongly believe in this market due to the global trend of electrification of light and heavy vehicle fleets in the coming years,” he evaluates.

Who Does VOOLTA Supply Chargers For and How Does It Work?
The company has already distributed and installed chargers in dealerships, shopping malls, parking lots, residential condominiums, car rental companies, pharmacies, hotels, gas stations, energy distributors, supermarkets, retail stores, and others.
Electric vehicles operate with electric current from four basic components: battery, electric motor, converter, inverter, and regenerative braking system. A 100% electric vehicle (EV) or plug-in hybrid requires an external power source to charge the battery. Generally, when these vehicles are purchased, the charger and charging cable are provided by the manufacturer.
