Meet the New Delivery Drone Unveiled in São Paulo That Can Reach 90 Km/h and Transform the Business and Logistics Sector in Brazil.
Electric Delivery Drone Unveiled in São Paulo Promises to Change the Future of Deliveries in Brazil
A new delivery drone promises to transform how companies handle logistics in Brazil.
Between September 15 and 19, in São Roque (SP), Synerjet, in partnership with the German Wingcopter, officially presented the Wingcopter 198, a high-performance electric device that can reach 90 km/h and cover distances of up to 94 kilometers.
The model is in certification process by ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency) and already approved by Anatel. The goal? To make deliveries faster, safer, and more sustainable throughout the country.

Cutting-Edge Technology Drives Business in Brazil
Manufactured in Germany, the Wingcopter 198 is an electric eVTOL drone — an acronym for vertical take-off and landing aircraft — with a fixed wing and the ability to carry up to 5 kg of payload. This includes everything from perishable goods to high-value materials.
With a maximum take-off weight of 25 kg, the model combines power and lightness, along with a 60-minute flight time.
The battery charging time is equivalent, allowing for continuous operations and reducing logistics costs. Another highlight is the quick pilot training, which takes only two weeks.
São Paulo as a Showcase for the Future of Deliveries
The choice of São Paulo for the unveiling of the Wingcopter 198 delivery drone was not by chance. The state hosts some of the largest business hubs in Brazil, making it fertile ground for logistics testing and innovation.
During the event, representatives from Synerjet demonstrated the drone’s operation in different conditions and highlighted its potential for expansion to other Brazilian regions.
According to the company, two units are already in operation in the country, and three more are expected to arrive by the end of the year.
“Two are already in Brazil and three more will arrive by the end of the year,” stated Fábio Rebello, CEO of Synerjet.
Certification and International Expansion
While Synerjet progresses with testing in Brazil, Wingcopter GmbH conducts regulatory processes in the United States, Europe, and Japan.
The approval from Anatel already ensures secure communication between the drone and the ground, a fundamental step for future large-scale commercial operations.
“The country has remote locations and inadequate transportation infrastructure. In a second phase, we envision obtaining permission to fly over densely populated areas,” noted Armando Gessinger, Chief Revenue Officer of Wingcopter GmbH.
This global expansion is the result of an investment of 100 million euros (about R$ 623 million), driving the serial production of the model and its entry into strategic markets, such as Brazil.
Logistic Applications and Impact on Business
The Wingcopter 198 was initially developed with a focus on medical logistics. However, the equipment’s potential goes far beyond this segment.
In other countries, the drone has already been used to transport vaccines, medicines, blood, and genetic materials. These operations require precision, speed, and total reliability. Therefore, the model stands out as one of the most advanced solutions in the world for drone deliveries.
Meanwhile, in Brazil, experts believe the Wingcopter 198 can be a true game changer for technology, e-commerce, and logistics companies.
After all, its versatility allows it to serve different sectors and adapt to the needs of businesses of all sizes.
Additionally, the ability to reach remote and hard-to-access areas significantly broadens the opportunities for fast and sustainable deliveries.
The Future of Deliveries in Brazil Has Already Begun
With the arrival of the Wingcopter 198, Brazil officially enters the drone delivery era, marking a new advancement in technological innovation.
Thus, the project by Synerjet reinforces São Paulo’s role as a hub of business and technology, in addition to positioning the country among the leaders in intelligent air logistics.
Meanwhile, the progress of certification by the ANAC indicates that the operation of the drone is getting closer. On the other hand, the interest from large companies reinforces the confidence in this new delivery method.
Thus, experts believe that soon, seeing drones cross the sky with packages will cease to be a futuristic concept and will become part of the everyday life of Brazilian businesses and consumers.
