Recognized Air Support Company in Offshore Basins Will Transport Personnel During Crew Changes of the Constellation Drillship
Constellation (formerly Queiroz Galvão Oil and Gas) has just announced the signing of a contract with Omni Táxi Aéreo to support its drillship Amaralina Star. Omni also has a contract with Petrorio and operates from Macaé airport.
The contract provides for air support services during crew changes for the vessel currently drilling in the Campos Basin.
Under the agreement between the parties, Omni will use medium, super-medium, and large aircraft to transport Constellation workers during crew changes.
The contract has a duration of 2 years and is already in effect, with the first flights having been completed.

The Destination
The drillship Amaralina Star is a state-of-the-art drilling vessel, built at the Samsung shipyard in South Korea, designed to operate in waters with depths of up to 3,048 meters, especially in the pre-salt, with a drilling depth capacity of up to 12,100 meters.
Currently, Constellation’s drillship is under contract with the French oil company Total, drilling in the Lapa field in the Campos Basin.
The company Omni taxi aéreo is well known for its excellence in offshore support services and already provides services to Petrobras, for instance, in the Polvo field, also in the Campos Basin.
