Reach Subsea is about to begin its operations for Equinor offshore Brazil using the submarine Havila Subsea.
Reach Subsea, in partnership with the Brazilian company OceanPact, was selected by Equinor to provide a range of services, including light construction, inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR), and research at the Peregrino field, offshore Brazil.
This partnership opens doors to new business opportunities and highlights Reach Subsea’s expertise in providing high-quality solutions in the subsea sector.

Extended Contract of Reach Subsea with Havila Subsea in the Brazilian Market
Reach Subsea’s ongoing project in Brazil will continue this month, with the Norwegian company Havila Subsea carrying out the activities. Reach Subsea extended the vessel’s contract in September, keeping it valid until December 31, 2024.
According to the Norwegian company, the project has high technical complexity, involving a combination of services provided by different divisions of the organization.

Guaranteed Contracts and News at Reach Subsea
With this contract award, along with several other recent contracts in Europe and the U.S., Reach Subsea has secured contracts with a total estimated value above NOK 265 million (approximately US$ 24.3 million). Most of these contracts will start in the fourth quarter of 2023 and the first quarter of 2024.

New Charter Contract of Reach Subsea with Agalas for IMR/Research Vessel
In November, Reach Subsea signed a charter contract for three to five years, including additional options, with Agalas for a low-emission IMR/research vessel. The vessel will have a smart lift arrangement and a package of equipment adaptable to various market segments, being built at Sefine Shipyard in Turkey, with specifications developed in collaboration with Agalas and the designer NSK Ship Design.
