To combat the new Coronavirus, the City Hall of Rio de Janeiro announced another selection process for 3,922 vacancies, distributed across positions in middle, technical, and higher education levels. The hiring will be done through the Public Health Company of Rio de Janeiro (RioSaúde) of health professionals.
The professionals will be allocated at the city hall’s field hospitals, at Riocentro, Federal de Bonsucesso, and Universitário Clementino Fraga Filho (Fundão/UFRJ).

The middle-level vacancies are for the positions of administrative assistant (140) and supply assistant (36). The salaries are R$1,617.11 and R$1,293.69, respectively.
For the technical level, there are vacancies for nursing technicians (1,806) and pharmacy (20). In this case, salaries range from R$1,617.11 to R$2,156.14, depending on the working hours of the professional.
The higher-level vacancies are distributed across the positions of: intensivist doctors, infectious disease specialists, and general practitioners (677), nurses (555), ICU specialist nurses (208), physiotherapists (192), ICU specialist physiotherapists (230), pharmacists (20), nutritionists (18), social workers (14), and psychologists (six). Salaries can reach R$15,693.95, already including benefits.
New hires will also be entitled to benefits such as additional risk pay, night shift pay, collective meals in a cafeteria at the service location, or meal vouchers and transportation assistance.
