The Post Office announced last Friday (27) the holding of a public competition planned for 2024, which promises to be one of the largest in the company’s history. With registrations expected in September, the state-owned company hopes to open up to 3,000 job vacancies, offering an unmissable opportunity for those looking to join one of Brazil’s largest logistics companies, according to infomoney.

The last selection held by the Post Office was in 2011, making this competition highly anticipated. Exam Locations and Preparation

The competition is scheduled to take place in approximately 228 cities across Brazil, making the process accessible to candidates from various regions. The exam will be organized by the Cespe/Cebraspe committee, known for its expertise in public competitions. For those wishing to prepare, the Post Office recommends focusing on the subjects of Computer Science, Mathematics, and Portuguese, which are the foundational subjects for most public competitions.

Registration Fee and Exemptions

In the last Post Office competition held in 2011, the registration fee was R$ 32. However, those registered in the Unified Cadastro (CadÚnico), a program aimed at low-income families, will be exempt from this fee. New fees will be announced in the official notice, which will be released soon.

Structure of the Exams

For the positions of Mail Carrier, Customer Service Representative, and Sorting and Transshipment Operator, the 2011 competition included 60 multiple-choice questions covering Computer Science, Mathematics, and Portuguese. For the other positions, the exams were of the True and False style, totaling 120 questions, with 50 basic knowledge questions and 70 specific questions.
